When I am Baptized has always been a favorite Primary song of mine! I love the simple melody and message. This arrangement was originally written as a piano/violin duet. I later added a VOCAL line - both versions are listed here.  I hope you enjoy! This song was so much fun to write! I would truly love to hear from you if you decide to use any of these arrangements. :)

Whatever solo instrument is used - whether it be a violin or flute, definitely feel free to take liberties with the arrangement. Some solo instruments may prefer to take a section up an octave. :)  

Another version of this song has recently been added. The words to "I Am A Child of God" work well with the tune of "When I Am Baptized". In this version, the 2nd verse of the song is replaced with the FIRST verse of "I am a Child of God". The ending is also a little different.  Definitely try it and see what you think. :) It is titled "I Like to Look for Rainbows". I used this version with a small group of Primary girls that sang in Sacrament Meeting. Super pretty!
