Song background:

This piano medley is entitled "Easter Joy." Four familiar Easter hymns are incorporated into this medley--three from Hymns and one from the Children's Songbook. This piano medley is a joyous musical celebration of the resurrection of Christ. It begins with chords announcing the joy we feel at Easter. "He is Risen" and "Christ the Lord is Risen Today" are not used in their entirety.
