Grant Comin is a composer and performer from Alberta, Canada. Grant studied classical piano from a young age, and has his associate's diploma in piano performance from Canada's Royal Conservatory of Music. He is currently based in Edmonton studying composition at MacEwan University. He enjoys writing in different genres and for different ensembles, and has written for strings, jazz band, funk band, and for solo voice and piano. Song background:

This arrangement was written for my two twin brothers who both left on missions in the same week. This one of my favourite hymns, and I love the message of the lighthouse. Jesus is the light of the world, but we can also be a small light, guiding our brothers and sisters back to the safety of our Heavenly Father.

This arrangement is perfect for a small choir or trio. The soprano is all melody, and the bass is mostly melody with some simple harmony (watch out for the altered melody in verse 2). The alto part is a little more adventurous, but is very doable with one or two more experienced singers. Enjoy!
