This song came about after I was asked by a high councilman if I would compose an original song that our stake could sing to celebrate the Syracuse, Utah Temple as the dedication date drew nearer.  

I wanted something unique that musically mirrored my own feelings for the temple, something that captured the pull that I feel within myself to find peace and solace within its holy walls. 

The majesty. The glory.  The reverence. The grace and mercy.  The desire to return, not just to the temple, but to God and our Heavenly home. 

This is not a loud, robust anthem like "The Spirit of God," but is rather, one of majestic reverence that climbs and builds intensity until the final verse and alleluias.

Sometimes alleluias are simply what our hearts sing when we are so full of gratitude and praise, but we lack the mortal words to adequately express our feelings. 

We were able to perform this at a special stake fireside in the Syracuse West Stake on April 27, 2025.
