Song background:

Music has power to change my mood and help me feel better. Add inspired words, and you’ve got lots of power right there. Then add some loved ones into the mix, some harmony, and maybe some laughter, and you’ve got the gist of this song! Use voices or get creative and pick instruments for each part.

I picture this song being enjoyed most in the home or sung at youth camps. I included guitar chords as another option for accompaniment.

I began this as sort of an "Ode to Song" where we are actually talking to music. But I think we automatically turn our hearts to Heavenly Father as we search for His Spirit as we sing!

Also, the MP3 plays part of the accompaniment wrong in measure 17. So don't let that change your mind about this song!
