Lyrics: Verse 1:
As a little child I often see
My parents faithfully
Attend the holy temple.
With such felicity.

They teach me how important
That together family be,
Not only for this life alone,
But all eternity.

Verse 2:
Their counsel I do often hear,
Begin now and prepare,
Be faithful and obedient
That in God’s house you’ll serve.

And one day you’ll return again
Into His house of love,
And enter into cov’nants grand
With Father up above.

Verse 3:
From what my parents teach me well
And by example show,
Within my mind I yearn for when
Into God’s house I’ll go.

I dream of when on that great day
With joy exceeding great,
Arrive I will and enter in
To serve the Lord in faith.

Verse 4:
How wonderful indeed that day
When finally it comes.
My dream at last shall be fulfilled!
With joy I’ll serve the Lord.

For souls I know have waited long
From prison to be freed,
Awaiting light and guidance
To progress eternally.
