Michael is a graduate of Brigham Young University and Western Governor's University with degrees in German, Music and Instructional Design. Though he grew up traveling the world with his military father, he now lives in Utah with his wife, Jen, and his two sons. He enjoys acting in community theater, performing and writing music, and writing both fiction and non-fiction. He played for several years with the handbell choir Bells on Temple Square and is now a member of the Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square. He is the author of the many books, including The Canticle Kingdom, The Hunger, and The Last Archangel. Love at Home/Dearest Children God Is Near You: Both of these songs fit in perfectly with the Welsh lullaby “All Through the Night”. The gentle melody reinforces the spirit of the words. In the case of “Love at Home” I added an additional verse that serves as a family motto for us.
