Alma Dittmer, deceased March 1980. Graduated from University of Utah in violin performance. Moved to NYC where he got his master’s at Columbia Teachers College in choir conducting. While holding the Chair of Music position at Kent State University he finished his PhD from Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY, in music composition & theory. He taught at Ricks College, Idaho for 6 years and then Utah State University for over 20 years in choir and music theory.
