Song background:

Whenever I feel overwhelmed by the weight of the world, all I have to do is remind myself of the simple truths I learned in Primary. I know that I am a child of God, and that He wants me to return home to live with Him again. I know Jesus lives and that He loves me, and through His atonement, He made it possible for me to return to my heavenly home. I am so grateful for these fundamental truths of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

This simple arrangement was written for my 3 sons to play together on the piano, cello, and viola before my oldest left on his mission. These are 2 of my favorite primary songs of all time, and I love the way they fit together so perfectly. I know that I am a child of God, and as I reflect on that knowledge, I feel the love my Savior has for me. I have been blessed by this knowledge throughout my life and I have tried to lead, guide, and walk beside each of my children as they have come to know these truths for themselves.
