Lyrics: Verse 1:
There is a welding link between the fathers and the children, welding together a whole and perfect union. A voice of mercy from heav'n a voice of truth, glad tidings for the living and the dead; the gospel message of one Lord, one baptism, ord'nance and covenant, binding on earth and in heaven our salvation, we with our kindred dead.
