You may think this arrangement is long, but it is a very abbreviated version of a 20 minute musical drama by Mack Wilberg based on the Parable of the Prodigal Son found in the Gospel of Luke Chapter 15. Parts of the original composition get rather loud and biosterous, but this arrangement can be played as quiet prelude music if desired. At any rate, it begins somberly but ends quite happily as does the parable.
