Victoria Yates ha amado la música desde temprana edad, comenzando sus lecciones de piano cuando tenía apenas 7 años. A lo largo de los años, estudió con tres diferentes maestras de piano, desarrollando sus habilidades y profundizando su amor por la música sacra. Comenzó a dar clases de piano durante la preparatoria y retomó la enseñanza después de servir como misionera en México. Actualmente, Victoria sirve en su iglesia como directora y pianista de la Primaria, pianista de barrio, y pianista de estaca. Se enfoca en traducir y adaptar arreglos de música sacra para hacerlos accesibles a comunidades de habla hispana, ayudando a expandir el acceso a recursos edificantes para la adoración. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Victoria Yates has loved music from a young age, beginning piano lessons at just 7 years old. Victoria currently serves in her church as a Primary chorister and pianist, ward pianist, and stake pianist. She focuses on translating and adapting sacred music arrangements to make them available to Spanish-speaking communities, helping to expand access to uplifting worship resources.

Esta es una traducción y adaptación al español de Because He Lives de Bonnie Heidenreich y Linda Chapman, un programa de adoración para Pascua que incluye 7 himnos y 7 narraciones de personajes de la historia de los Evangelios.

Puede presentarse de manera sencilla en una reunión sacramental o con disfraces si se realiza fuera de un servicio de adoración. Duración aproximada: 35 minutos.

Algunas melodías fueron ligeramente ajustadas para adaptarse mejor a los rangos vocales del coro.
Nota: En algunos de los audios, las letras pueden diferir ligeramente de la partitura. Durante los ensayos con el coro, realizamos pequeños ajustes en el lenguaje para mayor claridad y naturalidad.

También, para el himno titulado Getsemaní, decidí utilizar un arreglo diferente de otro compositor, ya que lo había aprendido anteriormente para otro programa de Pascua.

This is a Spanish translation and adaptation of Because He Lives by Bonnie Heidenreich and Linda Chapman—a worshipful Easter program with 7 hymns and 7 narrations from characters in the Gospel story.

It can be presented simply in sacrament meeting or with costumes outside of a worship setting. Approximate duration: 35 minutes.

Some melodies were slightly adjusted to better fit choir vocal ranges.
Please note: In some of the recordings, the lyrics may differ slightly from the sheet music. As we rehearsed with the choir, we made some small language adjustments for clarity and natural flow.

Also, for the song titled Gethsemane, I chose to use a different arrangement by another composer, as I had previously learned it for an earlier Easter program.

I translated this program to make its powerful message more accessible to Spanish-speaking units. After seeing its impact in our stake, I knew it could bless many others.
