for this piece (opens in a new window).I wrote this piece by request of the Ensign Children's Chorus in Seattle, WA. The chorus came to me while visiting the temple one evening. I was struck by the beautiful idea of the Savior loving each one of us one by one. The atonement is infinite yet extremely personal. The personal nature of the atonement is the aspect that I hope children will connect with as they sing this piece.
There is also a two-part choral arrangment with decant and flute obbligato as well as a fully orchestrated version that includes an adult choir as well as a children/youth chorus. Those may be purchased by contacting the composer.

Lyrics: Chorus:
One by one, He gathers all His children.
One by one, He teaches them His way.
And I know by His smile
I am His child.
Jesus loves us one by one.
