From Shawna: WOW! What a beautiful arrangement. This hymn tends to be sung WAY TOO SLOWLY with a congregation. I love that this arrangement is much more lively and matches the message and spirit of the song! The choir sounded fantastic. We practiced this for 2 months of Sundays and it went very well. We had anywhere from 5 to 25 people at choir practice any given week, and around 25 performed. I would give it a medium on difficulty. It was not very difficult and any difficult parts were quickly learned and it was so fun to sing that no one minded going over it multiple times each week. We worked a little bit at a time, sometimes only tackling the most difficult sections and putting it aside to work on other songs. We hit it hard three weeks before performing and it was practically flawless! Thanks again, Bro. Petrie, for a LOVELY arrangement of a super amazing song that I hope they keep in the hymnbook!!
