This arrangement was inspired by the Bach chorale of this old hymn.  I love the harmonies and wanted to explore exposing them and bringing out the different moods I heard in the lyrics.    The music attempts to enhance the emotions surrounding the great atoning sacrifice. I wrote this in MuseScore. To edit this piece just import a pdf.

I originally arranged this piece for violin, flute, clarinet, and french horn because that is what my congregation had. There is now a string quartet pdf uploaded as well.

I am more than happy to make small adjustments to the music to better suit an ensemble you want to use.  Please just let me know.
