I earned my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in piano performance and have had extensive opportunities in both performance/competition and teaching. I love music! I am an amature composer but enjoy experimenting in this medium. It's a creative process that, to me, is very fulfilling. I am married to a wonderful and supportive man and we have three beautiful children.

In this hymn I really wanted to show through music and text the transformation that the healing power of the atonement can have on an individual. The verse, which describes pain and fear experienced in mortality is set to a very stagnant, haunting minor melody revolving around the dominant with harmonies to support the minor mode. The chorus speaks of healing, hope and the love of Christ and is supported by harmonies of the relative Major and melody that expands beyond that of the verse to indicate the immensity and beauty of the atonement.
Lyrics: When storms rage on to rob me of my faith
I feel weak, I surrender to the dark within
How can it be I overcome such sin?
