Gethsemane in Hebrew means olive press.  In Israel, the people would place olives in a sack between two heavy stones.  The stones would be turned while the olives were pressed and ground until the oil came out.  Olive oil in Israel was considered a healing oil.  Life, and its trials and strains, is like an oil press.  We are ground and refined.  But the beauty is that the Savior supplies the healing power or oil. He will lift our burdens to be made light so we don’t have to tread the olive press alone.  All we must do is come to Him and repent. It is only in and through the Savior that we are saved.
