Song background:

This song was written to go along with the 2018 primary theme "I Am a Child of God." The initial idea for it came as I was sitting in the LDS General Women's meeting in September 2017. Sister Marriott said, "We need to continually deepen our knowledge of and obedience to Heavenly Father," and parts of the chorus came to me at that time. The first verse/chorus are all questions, and the 2nd verse/chorus are the answers to those questions. This song teaches about the purpose of life and how we are children of our Heavenly Father.
