inspired by 1 Nephi 4:1-3 ... President Hinkley has asked the Saints to read the Book of Mormon before the New Year, and I am doing so. I told myself 'no hymns; just read' ... and that lasted a whole four chapters - this passage just jumped out at me and said 'write a hymn!' Cydeny van Duker had wanted to do a hymn where the male and female voices sang counter to each other, and she found that chance with this beautiful score.
