More about RC Hancock:
RC was called as primary pianist. RC grew bored. RC arranged new versions of the primary songs. RC was released from his calling. But that doesn't mean you can't spice things up in your ward's primary program. (Especially if you want to get released.) RC also writes YA fantasy novels and lives in PA with his wife and kids.

for this piece (opens in a new window). This is one of my wife’s favorite songs. I arranged this for her while she was having a particularly hard time with her health and depression. The first two verses seem to say Jesus will make everything better. (Which is true, but not always right away.) I wrote a third verse: When our trials aren't immediately taken away we can lean on our Savior and look forward to the day when we'll be free of pain and suffering.
