"It Is Well With My Soul" has been around for a long time. I'm sure I've been hearing it all my life, but I didn't really notice it until recently. I felt that little tug a my heart saying that I should do some sort of arrangement; so I decided to do a string duet. This hymn is available as a violin duet, or a cello duet, or as a violin and cello duet, all with piano accompaniment. The piano meanders through the first verse, then becomes a soft, mellow pattern in the second verse. The third verse is strong, with the ending getting slower and softer, with the meandering piano again. I've kept the melody simple so it can be easily heard. This would be appropriate for any worship service. Hope you like it!
