Song background:

When I heard an arrangement of this hymn, I knew I had to do a cello ensemble of it. I subsequently heard the Mormon Tabernacle Choir performed Mack Wilberg's arrangement on Music & the Spoken Word. Thus, I borrowed heavily from the beginning of his arrangement. Many of you will recognize this as LDS Hymn #172, "In Humility, Our Savior."
