This piece was one of those that came quckily and i rushed it through in hopes I could get it out for Easter in time. I'm a little behind and I'm not sure I've gotten all the little printing errors or other mistakes out of it. But, I figure I may as well get some feedback from people. I often find myself really trying to have the music take direction from the text and the third verse is probably the strongest example of that in this piece. Descending base lines have also worked well for me on other pieces and the interim material uses that here. 

Update 5/7/2023 made some modifications and cleaned up the score a bit. Also had the honor of having the Sheltering-In Choir of FPC Downey record this one. They are a group of incredibly talented singers who sacrifice their time and talents for you and me to hear music as it should sound rather than listening to fake choirs!
