I began composing as early as age four. Later on I earned a Bachelors degree in music from BYU where I studied composition and piano performance and sang with the BYU Singers. A performer as well as a composer, I have performed solo concerts and directed choirs in Washington, DC; Pittsburgh, PA; Provo, UT; and Fresno, CA.
Song background:

This is an arrangement of J.S. Bach’s Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring for SATB choir, string quartet, and organ.  The text was adapted from the hymn, Help Me Teach with Inspiration, by Lorin Wheelwright to place greater focus on ministering to the one.  This piece was dedicated to Yvonne and Lester Bush and was premiered in church services in both California and Maryland in 2018.
