Song background:

This was originally titled "God's Temple Is Restored" and was written to celebrate the rebuilding of the Apia Samoa temple after its devistating fire. I realized that it was also celebrating the restoration of the Gospel, so I renamed it accordingly. This is the tune I wrote it to, and I like it. While congregations who have sung it like it, professional and trained musicisions tell me it's terrible. Meanwhile, Cydney Van Duker has also written another tune for it that I find to be perfect. This text received an Award of Merit in the 2006 LDS Annual Musical Submission.
