Song background:
One of my favorite traditions is singing "Joy to the World" in our ward on Easter Sunday. (Try it! You'll like it!) Because of this tradition, I wanted to compose a choral Easter piece and somehow include "Joy to the World" without it taking over the entire song. So in the last chorus of this song, I've added bits and phrases of "Joy to the World." Glory to God! Let Earth receive her King!
