From Mindy Meyers : We needed something for this month that we could learn with just one practice, and this was able to do the trick, plus it was beautiful and brought the spirit. We got lots of compliments on this song today. Thank you so much for sharing your talents!
5.0 stars.
From Becky Newson: Our choir has been struggling with low numbers, and I really wanted to make Easter special. Enter this beautiful song! It was easy enough for people to learn it at home, thanks to a wonderful recording available and simple singing format, but still performs SO beautifully. It really helped our ward's Easter Program turn into something special and memorable, when other options just wouldn't work for our situation! Beautiful, beautiful song, and wonderful message. Thank you, Rachel!

From Linda: "Come Unto Christ" is absolutely gorgeous. I plan to have my small church choir learn it. They will love it as much as I do. Thank you for sharing your gifts!

Kennewick Washington Stake, 2014
I was asked to help our youth learn a song for sacrament meeting along this theme, "Come unto Christ." There are some lovely songs written on this theme, but finding one that fit our youth, a sacrament meeting, and the learning time frame I was given, was a challenge. Writing this song was a tender experience, and one that taught me powerfully of God's love for each one, His power to heal and lift us, and His willingness to lead and guide us in His work. Thanks to my son, Jim, for recording the MP3 demo with me.

Lyrics: Come unto Christ and be perfected
Love Him with all your mind and soul
For He alone can heal you,
And has the pow'r to make you whole.
He took upon him every sorrow,
And felt the weight of every sin
His heart is filled with mercy
To rescue all who come to Him.
He is the way; He is the truth.
He is the life.
He is the hope for your tomorrow.
Come unto Christ.
Deny yourself of all ungodliness,
And lay aside your every sin
Remembering your covenant
That you will always follow Him.
For by His power you are sanctified,
And by His grace you are redeemed.
His life is endless mercy,
His love an endless stream.
He is the way; He is the truth.
He is the life.
He is the hope for your tomorrow.
Come unto Christ.
He is the light of the world,
He is the bright morning star.
He is the path to salvation
From wherever you are.
He is the way; He is the truth.
He is the life.
He is the hope for your tomorrow.
Come, come. Come!
Come unto Christ.
