Song background:

They say that the fifth time is a charm. This is the fifth hymn text I've written from Nephi's words in 2 Nephi 25:26-27 and the first I was happy with. It took all the previous attempts to really iron out this text, which was completed in time to submit for the LDS hymnal revision project. Whether or not it is selected, I will continue to be very happy with it.
