for this piece (opens in a new window).I love the scriptures where the Lord tells us to, “be still”. It is the best phrase I can think of to convey what we need to do in order to feel the Lord in our life, and to feel the calmness, comfort, and direction that he “orders and provides” (from the lyrics). In my arrangement, I tried to convey this calm. I also tried to convey the powerful and hopeful joy when we feel when we have unshakeable confidence in our Heavenly Father who always does what will ultimately make us happiest.
Just a note: If you play this song, be sure not to rush it even though there are a lot of notes. Keep the title in mind as you play, and hopefully you can convey this to your listeners.
