While the lyrics are lifted from the hymnbook, the melody is original. It's in dorian mode, if you care to know that kind of thing, which is a favorite of mine :) It's meant to be done entirely a capella (the piano part is for rehearsal only and it's kind of gnarly so I wouldn't recommend using it for performance). In performance, please take time with it. It's meant to sound rich and full, not at all rushed. Lean into the dissonances and make sure to shape all the held notes. Apologies for the terrible recording- unfortunately I don't have the contacts to do a nice recording at the moment so I'm stuck with finale's terrible dynamics!
