I gave this original melody a second look and thought it might be fun to try a choir arrangement. There are some things I like better about this arrangement (a little easier on the pianist in the middle section and last verse for starters) but I still feel like the solo soprano more accurately captures the feeling of text. Nevertheless, I think this arrangement is workable. Would love to hear from any choirs who try it out.
