"O Come, O Come, Emmanuel" is a song from the earliest known European Christian hymns (originally a plainsong or chant written in latin). It is a haunting and oft - performed piece. This arrangement incorporates both the original latin text as well as its equivalent in English. Additionally, some original melodic and harmonic and text material by the arranger is introduced near the end of the song. It is usually performed in and around the Christmas season.
