I was asked for a beautiful Christmas alto/bass duet and was surprised I couldn't find one! I arranged this and then had my ward choir sing it last year. (I added soprano and tenor parts in one spot, but you could leave those out as well). It's great for choirs with more low voices than high, or could be used as a duet. I originally arranged it for flute, vocalists, and piano, but since our flautist moved and an oboist moved in, I changed it. It was lovely with oboe, but flute or violin would work as well.
