I have always loved the words to "O My Father", but I have never been a fan of the traditional melody, which can easily come off as "sing-song". I've always loved the folksong "Homeward Bound", and when I've sung it, I think about coming home to our Father in Heaven. In this arrangement, I have combined the two into something that conveys our longing for our heavenly home.
