When I wrote this song, the sacred houses of the Lord were on my mind. This song was written near the time of the dedication of the current Nauvoo Temple. Our Stake also dedicated a new Stake Center. I love the idea of our homes being dedicated to The Lord. This song is a prayer to be sung in every house of the Lord. It is a humble prayer for the place you gather in to worship God, and a prayer to receive and give His love therein.
This is a song I sing in my own home, and I want to sing it at church and in the Temple.
I am happy to share this song and hope many members of the church sing it as a prayer in their own homes.
