Song background:

I wrote this song for my daughter, Emma. We waited and hoped for her to join our family for several years. She is definitely worth the wait! Elder Holland has said, "Some blessings come soon, some come late, and some don’t come until heaven; but for those who embrace the gospel of Jesus Christ, they come."

Lyrics: Deep within my aching heart,
I ask for blessings He imparts.
I'm trying hard to show my faith,
But still the answer comes to wait.

Hold on, just a little more,
Promised blessings are in store.
Please hold on, with faith endure,
Promised blessings will be yours.
For some come soon and some come late,
This I know, they're worth the wait.

I trust the Father cares for me,
Although His timing I can't see.
I'll faithfully live God's commands,
And seek to put this in His hands.

Hold on, just a little more,
Promised blessings are in store.
I'll hold on, wait on the Lord,
Blessings will be my reward.
For some come soon and some come late,
Some may not come 'til heaven's gate,

But this I know, it’s worth the wait!
