Song background:

This is an updated arrangement for sacrament meeting. If your music chairman doesn't like you steering off on sacrament hymn from the way it was written, I would definitely  show this first. The first verse has all 4 parts. The second verse has the alto on the bass clef working the way  up on the treble clef using a solid 8' french horn or whatever horn may be available on your equipment. The third verse has a solo that that goes up and down like stairs. Finally, the last verse is a little bit of everything like major, diminshed, seventh etc. Honestly, I just put what I think I would play if I ad libbed at the last moment. This is what I do before services and rewrite the hymns. Honestly, I'm over halfway. Way over halfway I believe.
