Song background:

I sat down at the piano to go over the songs in the Primary Songbook and was bothered that the Mother’s Day songs were the same my children sang when they were young.  In about five minutes I had the words for a new Mother’s Day song!  Then it took me about an hour to think up a melody.  The accompaniment took me several days because I am not a composer
