Song background:

Jesus Christ is truly the "Prince of Peace." He was born into a world which was searching for peace, and two millenia later, that peace is still elusive. Is peace possible when we are surrounded by contention and discord? This program brings the sweet spirit of Christmas as it explores the shepherds, the wisemen and angels who sing "Peace on earth - Good will toward men."

It is approximately 45 minutes long and includes narration, scriptures, choir numbers and congregational carols. It can be performed with all of the numbers being congregational carols or the choir can choose as many of the numbers as they can comfortably prepare. Included are arrangements of "Silent Night" "In the Bleak Mid-Winter" "I Heard the Bells" and "Joy to the World."
