Song background:

Shortly after my 8th birthday, I was very Proud to be baptized by my Daddy. I had not changed much in my life until a few Sundays later.  I caught myself counting the tile on the ceiling during the sacrament. “This is not worshiping!!” I start to compose and completed “Christ died upon the cross for me, thus, from eternal death I’m free.” I composed many variations and addition over 75 years.
