Song background:

I debated for some time whether this would be a duet or trio and whether to put accompaniment to it or not. It started as a duet, but when the end came, I just couldn't help but hear a third counter melody soaring over the well known (and well loved) duet in this hymn. I hope it doesn't detract from Thomas Kosches beautiful piece. Hoping you violinists out there will enjoy.
