"The Promise of Bethlehem" is a 35-minute program with narration, scriptures, and Christmas carols. It is versatile, as it can be performed with all of the numbers being congregational hymns or with the choir choosing as many of the numbers as they can comfortably prepare.

The narration weaves its words around beloved Christmas carols, exploring the heritage of Bethlehem, the meaning of the bread of life, and the symbolism of an inn-keeper who does not recognize his God. We can learn much from the glorious angels, the faithful shepherds and the 3 wise kings as we each come to worship the Savior.
