This has always been one of my favorite hymns. I recently realized how few hymns have been arranged for strings. This one is reverent, but has a modern accompaniment. Call me an empathetic composer, but I like to have everyone get a share of the melody. No one should feel left out! Well, you got it. This piece would be appropriate in any worship service. Enjoy!
