for this piece (opens in a new window). When i created this song, I wanted to portray someone who deals with high and low mood swings. Sometimes the some will be lively, sometimes it can be depressing, and sometimes it can be chaotic. The second movement specifically deals with a friend of mine who has dealt with a lot of trauma in her life. This movement has a lot of meaning behind it as you'll soon see. The begininng starts of with a sorrow intro which cresendo's up and falls down into what seems like nothingness. This song deals a lot with rising and falling down, but with this movement, you'll really be able to accurately hear and experience the life of my friend, and the dark abyss that tries to consume her.
