Song background:
This is a fun little arrangment of Stars Were Gleaming to provide some variety for the primary children and accompanists. The melody is the same, so children can learn and enjoy it quickly, but the accompaniment is more involved and the timing has been changed from 3/4 to 4/4. (The lyrics are copyrighted and could not be included in the music. But the music itself is free to copy for home and church use.) This could also be used as an easy instrumental solo for flute, violin, oboe, etc. Have some fun with this!
