Merrijane's lyrics for this song explain how to recognize the influence of the spirit and his different roles so sweetly and simply, I really wanted to "write them on the hearts" of my own children to be a guide to them. So I set out to turn them into a song. The music is intended to be comforting and lullaby like--hopefully invoking those sweet feelings of the spirit in the children as they sing--so that while they sing about the Holy Ghost, they will actually feel his influence at the same time and really start to understand the reality of it all. This is a GREAT song for kids and great for baptismal services!
