An arrangement of "Silent Night" for congregation (or choir).  The congregation can sing out of the hymnbook while the organ, piano, guitar and violin provide beautiful accompaniment that changes for each verse.  There is an introduction and a postlude, but no interlude between verses, making it easy for the congregation to sing along without any prior or special preparation, perhaps other than mentioning to follow the director.  

It would work great as a closing song to cap off a spiritual musical Christmas program and let the feeling of the whole program settle over the entire congregation.  

The violin and guitar will likely need to be amplified/miked in order to achieve an appropriate balance. The organ settings and volume will also have to be carefully selected to not overwhelm the entire ensemble.  

The song could be done eliminating either the guitar or the violin and keeping the other, if instrumentalists aren't available, but I hope at least one of the two can be included.

The song can be conducted as though there were two 3/4 measures per single 6/4 measure (since leading a 6 beat pattern is a bit ackward.)
