I have always loved singing and playing musical instruments. I taught piano lessons for many years. I have sung in many choirs and done solo work, especially at funerals. I enjoy directing choirs and I compose music as a hobby. I love to write music to praise the Lord, express my testimony, or my feelings.

Song background:

This was a Young Women camp song in 2002 when our theme was Stand Ye in Holy Places. I was really impressed that it needed to be reiterated for the youth and children. Standing in places that are holy is absolutely important and critical. I have done a little rewriting before publishing it. Stand Ye in Holy Places. (I have published a rewritten piece that is entitled Stand iin Holy Places, but this is the original.)
