Born and raised in Georgia, I'm a mother and grandmother who has been composing and arranging for 50 years but has never had anything published. Finally yielding to the encouragement of family and friends.

Song background:

The lyrics of Rock of Ages are precious to me, painting a picture of the intimate relationship we can have with the Savior. I thought a new setting would help further spread that image. I've tweaked the words a little, particularly in the last verse where I changed "when I rise to worlds unknown" to "worlds once known" to remind us that we return from whence we came. I also added a third verse to express the relief in turning totally and completely to Christ.
