Holly studied voice and piano for six years in her youth and loved sitting with her sister, Wendy, at the piano to sing hymns and broadway music. She graduated with a master's degree in accounting from Brigham Young University. She presently focuses on raising her three children and creating a home where the Spirit can dwell. Uplifting music is an important part of her effort, and so she regularly thinks about poetic ways to communicate messages that she hopes to remember and teach to her children. She is grateful Wendy Jensen captures her lyrics in original musical settings that she loves singing around the home and sharing with others.

for this piece (opens in a new window).This prayer is inspired by my journey to know Christ, seek His healing, and feel God's love. Last year, I sought to truly know the Savior. I continued keeping my covenants and tried to think of Him more often. During this time, I desired some specific healing, and I believed Christ could bring wholeness. Seeking the Lord's hand early and often, I accepted His will and prayed for peace no matter the outcome. In a prayer, I thanked Heavenly Father for notable peace and Christ's power to heal. I particularly cherish an impression of Christ's friendship. I now know that obedience and faith prepared me for that joy and, in accordance with God's all-knowing wisdom and will, that Christ can and sometimes will heal.--HB
